Some rules and regulations

We are living in the middle of wilderness, so you can here normal voices of life. Neighbour’s dog is barking a lot. In winter you hear snowmobiles and perhaps neighbouring hotel’s huskies. In summer you can hear motorboats and small aeroplanes sometimes.

In Summer

Because we are on the beach do not shout loud if you are not in danger. You can bathe in the lake but the water might be too warm to drink. Locals drink it but it depends on the bacteria you are used to if your stomach likes it or not.

In Winter

You can ask from the hostess if it is safe to walk on the ice. During dark hours take care that you have reflectors to be seen for example to snowmobilers.

You can loan an old kick sled from the hostess.

Always

You can ask from the hostess if you wish to participate some work at the main house, for example picking berries, colouring yarn, doing some work at the garden, moving the grass. In winter you can participate making some handicrafts (surcharge).
